Bagabaga College of Education has organised an orientation for over 300 Level 400 students ahead of the College’s first Action Research Project Work Defence since the commencement of the Bachelor of Education programme.
The session opened with remarks from the Vice Principal, Dr. Mumuni Zakaria, who emphasised the importance of research and the ability to defend one’s study. He noted that effective research presentation and defence skills would support students in postgraduate studies, professional practice and future academic engagements.
The orientation was facilitated by the College Research and Publications Coordinator, Mr. Macharious Nabang. He guided the candidates through the approved presentation structure, the ten-minute presentation period, effective use of PowerPoint slides, time management and how to respond to questions from the assessment panel.
The session prepared the students to present their classroom problems, interventions, findings, reflections, conclusions and recommendations clearly and confidently.
