Bagabaga College of Education on Thursday July 2, 2026, successfully hosted the second session of its Weekly Seminar Series, featuring insightful presentations by the Education Department.
The session showcased two research presentations:
1. Mr Benjamin Nyarko & Mr Mansur Iddrisu presented on Age, Attendance and Academic Performance as Predictors of Preferred Senior High School Programme among Junior High School Students at Bagabaga Model School, Tamale.
2. Mr Umar Safianu Abukari presented on Psychometric Properties of the National Standardised Test in Mathematics Using Item Response and Generalisability Theories.






The seminar was chaired by the Principal, Professor Gazali Issahaku, and attended by members of Management and 50 teaching and non-teaching staff, reflecting the College’s growing commitment to research, innovation and continuous professional development.
